Wellness Consulting - Workplace Wellness and Recovery Consultant
It's time I get this going! Adding to my Remedial Massage Therapy business I am now also a Workplace Wellness & Recovery Consultant.
After years working one-on-one with clients in remedial massage, I’ve observed a consistent pattern: many of the physical complaints people seek treatment for are not isolated injuries, but downstream effects of workplace demands that have accumulated over time.
Prolonged sitting, repetitive movements, sustained postural load, high cognitive stress, and insufficient recovery periods contribute significantly to musculoskeletal dysfunction. Research consistently links modern work environments with increased incidence of neck and shoulder pain, lower back discomfort, tension headaches, and stress-related muscular guarding. Often, by the time clients present for treatment, symptoms have been developing for months sometimes years, before they are recognised as a health or performance issue.
In clinical practice, these concerns rarely exist in isolation. Physical tension is frequently accompanied by fatigue, reduced concentration, disrupted sleep, and decreased resilience to stress, all of which impact workplace performance, productivity, and overall wellbeing. Remedial massage becomes not just a response to pain, but an intervention that supports nervous system regulation, movement quality, and recovery capacity.
This has shifted my perspective on treatment. Rather than viewing massage solely as symptom management, I see it as part of a broader preventative wellness strategy. One that helps individuals maintain function, sustain performance, and reduce the long-term impact of occupational strain.
Supporting clients earlier, before discomfort becomes injury, is where meaningful health outcomes and workplace wellbeing truly intersect.
Ultimately using Remedial Massage with Bspokr as a form of relaxation and injury maintenance and recovery.
